    Instructions
    1. Over a medium heat brown the chicken in the coconut oil, ensuring all sides are cooked and no pink pieces remain. Set aside the chicken.
    2. Add to the pan the bacon and leeks and cook for a further few minutes, in the remaining coconut oil, until the bacon is cooked and the leeks have softened.
    3. Add the stock and mustard to the pan and bring to the boil. Simmer for a few minutes, them remove from the heat and pour into the slow cooker (crock pot). Add the chicken to the slow cooker.
    4. Cook on low for 8 – 10 hours and enjoy an instant cooked breakfast tomorrow morning.

      • Whole grain mustard is prepared mustard with visible mustard seeds. Look for coarse-ground mustard or stone-ground mustard if you can’t find whole grain. Whole grain mustard is sometimes difficult to find. Thanks! Natalie
